Andrew Kluth Associates
Experienced sustainability strategist and consultant

Andrew is highly experienced in the development, delivery and communication of sustainability strategies, programmes and performance improvement, in both in-house and consulting capacities. He drafted the first sustainability strategies for the Royal Mail Group, one of the UK's largest companies; Jarvis plc, a FTSE250 company; and Halcrow, one of the UK's largest independent engineering consulting firms. He has advised major companies, including Virgin Media, Johnson Matthey, Balfour Beatty, Alliance Boots, Inspace, EDF Energy and E.On on sustainability strategy, communications and reporting.
At Royal Mail, he led the setting up of their first major charity partnership and developed the framework for their first carbon management programme. At Jarvis, he identified savings in excess of £6m from energy saving and efficiency projects. At Halcrow, he established their joint lecture series on sustainability with the Institution of Civil Engineers as one of the most prestigious in the engineering field, with globally prominent sustainability advocates such as Amory Lovins, Will Day and HRH the Prince of Wales as keynote speakers.
Andrew's early career was in the Hong Kong Government, leading policy development in areas such as solid and chemical waste management and disposal, civilian emergency response planning, nuclear safety negotiations and aviation security.
Andrew is available to consult on an individual basis, either leading work or providing mentoring support, or is able to bring together a team of recognised experts and leaders to support larger and more complex projects and programmes.
